This article hilights a common and frustrating argument against human enhancement: to reference a hollywood doomsday scenario as good forecasting, (in this case, The Matrix.) It is a serious mistake to fail to “take into account the prospect of dramatic progress in technological capabilities,” and cast a future based on our own crude image of the world today.
